Rapper NO:EL (21, real name Jang Yong-joon), the son of a gang je-won national power lawmaker who was accused of assaulting a Super Wings police officer after an unlicensed contact accident, ended up at a crossroads in arrest.
On July 7, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office concluded that it would seek a warrant after interviewing NO:EL.
Earlier, the Seoul Seocho Police Station filed a preliminary Arrest warrant for NO:EL with the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office on charges of refusing to measure drinking, unlicensed driving, property damage, and criminal law.
However, when the Arrest warrant claim was not decided for a few days, it raised questions.
The prosecution said, "It took time to coordinate the schedule with the suspect's Attorney, which requires a suspect or The Attorney before arrest to claim a Arrest warrant."
And six days after the police filed a warrant, the prosecution accepted the prior Arrest warrant for NO:EL.
Earlier, NO:EL drove an unlicensed car on a road in Seocho-gu, Seoul, at 10:30 pm on the 18th of last month, and when a Super Wings police officer demanded a breath test and identification, he refused to respond and hit the head of a police officer. NO:EL was arrested on suspicion of refusing to measure drinking and driving unlicensed driving and obstructing the execution of official affairs under the Road Traffic Act.
NO:EL then attended the Seocho Police Station on the 30th of last month and returned home early on the 1st after 6 hours of investigation. At the time, NO:EL left the police station in a silent answer to reporters' questions.
NO:EL was sentenced to two years in prison for one year and six months in prison for allegedly driving a motorcycle ahead of him in June last year and replacing a driver.
NO:EL, who committed another crime during the Probation period, will be held at the Seoul Central District Court at 10:30 am on December 12.
