The fourth trial will be held on rapper NO:EL (real name Jang Yong-joon), the son of Jang Je-won, a member of the National Assembly who caused the unlicensed drunk driving scandal.
According to the legal circle on February 25, a fourth trial of NO:EL, which was indicted on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (unlicensed driving), will be held at the 4th criminal justice (Seoul Central District Court Judge Shin Hyuk-jae) in the afternoon of the same day.
The court will proceed with the defendant's newspaper at the trial.
NO:EL caused an accident on September 18 last year when he drove in Banpo-dong, Seoul Seocho District and crashed into another car. He was also accused of assaulting the police because he did not respond to the police's request to measure drinking and identify him.
NO:EL, who was arrested and indicted last October, finished the third trial on January 24, starting with the first trial in November last year. In the second trial, he admitted allegations of unlicensed drunk driving and obstruction of drinking measurement, but denied some of the allegations of police assault were "intentional."
In the third hearing, three police officers, including A, a victim who was allegedly hit by NO:EL, attended as witnesses, and when a body cam video of a fellow police officer filmed at the time of the NO:EL arrest was released, he made the claim that "it was a struggle with the pain caused by handcuffs and did not intend to injure the police."
NO:EL in the public police body cam video staggered as if drunk, refusing to measure the police's drinking and "I did not drive. CX." When a police officer said that Mr. B, a passenger at NO:EL, was in the passenger seat and then moved to the driver's seat, NO:EL shouted, "What are you moving, Mr. X." NO:EL eventually got into a patrol car with handcuffs, a police bodycam video filmed inside the patrol car showed NO:EL asking the police to stay still, "See X. "I'm an XX bitch," he said.
Police say NO:EL deliberately hit the police head with its head in a patrol car, which caused injuries.
On the other hand, NO:EL father Jang Jae-won resigned from the position of the general manager of the Yoon Seok-ryul camp on September 28 last year due to his unlicensed driving. Jang Jae-won said, "There is no face for the people, and there is no way to feel sorry for Yoon Seok-ryul."
