JYP Entertainment will launch a girl group consisting of Japanese power.
J. Y. Park participated in the 11th Demoray, an investment briefing session held at the COEX Auditorium in Samsung-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 21st.
At the briefing, J. Y. Park spoke about launching the next generation of global groups. "The future of the third K-pop is to raise, produce and announce local people," he said of the boy group of six Chinese people.
"I officially debuted two weeks ago, topping the QQ music video charts, I believe it's the future of K-pop," explained J. Y. Park.
In addition, J. Y. Park mentioned the launch plan of the girl group consisting of all Japanse, saying, "It is different from TWICE. "This project is all about imagining TWICE, which is Japanese," he said. "I expect their debut to be in the second half of next year and 2020 when it is late."
