Hip-hop group Rapper Kim was handed over to the prosecution for allegedly taking and possessing new synthetic hemp that he had secretly imported from overseas.
On July 7, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Drug Crime Investigation Department was later reported to have sent Kim to the prosecution for allegedly violating the law on Drug management, possession and sales of Drug Drugs at the end of last month.
Police searched Kim's workshop in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do early last month and Seized methamphetamine, synthetic hemp, etc. and arrested Kim on the spot. Seized synthetic hemp amounts to 7kg, and some are found to be a new Drug 'ADB-butinaca', which has a hallucinogenic effect more than ordinary hemp.
Kim believes that he received the Drug from the violent member of the Daejeon, and he is also arresting and tracking additional accomplices.
This is not the first time Kim has violated the Drug Act, but it added to the shock. He was also convicted of Cannabis medication in 2011 and was sentenced to six months in prison and two years in probation by the court.
