Another K-pop idol EXO (EXO) and nct 127 were also nominated in the "Favorite Social The Artist" category.
BTS was nominated for the third consecutive year until this year after winning the "Payborit Social The Artist" award at the 2018 awards ceremony. Last year, he was nominated for three categories: "Tour of the Year", "Payborit Social The Artist" and "Payborit Iruvar/group - Pop/Rock" and wrote a record of winning all awards.
The singers who were named the most in this year's American Airlines Music Awards were The Weekend and Roddy Rich, who became eight nominations.
