Broadcast: Pohang CBS Radio <Kim Yu-jung's Special Talk East Coast> FM 91.5 (17:05-17:30) Production: Kim Sun-young PD Progress: Kim Yu-jung Announcer Talk: Candidates Kim Byung-wook of Pohang Nam Ulleung Future Integration Party
Kim Byung-wook > Hello. Kim Byung-wook, a Candidatess for the National Assembly of Pohang Namulung Future Integration Party.
Kim Yoo-jung Yes, I will listen to the reason why I ran for this election,
Kim Byung-wook> Elections are called democratic flowers. In particular, this election, which will be held in the middle of the regime, should be an election that should be based on the report card of the Moon Jae-in regime. In that regard, the Moon Jae-in regime should be judged by the economic situation, the economy in Pohang is bottom, the national security is dangerous, the diplomacy is isolated, and education is ruined. And I have been a Candidatess for the 40th Candidatess in Ulleung, Pohang for a long time. Through me in my 40s, I think that our United Future Party showed a clear will to change generations to Pohang City and Ulleung County. I think that we will be able to transform the Uri Party through me. In this regard, I think that Pohang City and Ulleung people will send more support and expectation to our United Future Party.
Kim Yoo-jung I am very unfamiliar to the local people. Pohang is home, but since you have been active in Seoul, please introduce yourself to what kind of person you are.
Kim Byung-wook> Yeah. I'm a 99.9999% POG person with purity. My hometown is famous every day. From that town to my parents, my grandfather, my grandfather, my grandfather, my grandfather, almost .. I asked him when I was in the election this time, and he was farming in the village for almost 500 years. So not only was he born in the village, but he also graduated from elementary and junior high schools in the place of his day, and graduated from Pohang High School, a representative school in Pohang. He graduated from Kyungpook National University with a degree in political diplomacy. In 2002, in the year of the presidential election, he made a campaign with Lee Hoi-chang in the Daegu branch of the Grand National Party. And the following year, I started my career as an intern in the office of Rep.Kang Jae-sup, a former GNP leader, and resigned from the National Assembly in February of this year. I worked in the National Assembly for almost 15 years, except for the period of almost a short, mid-term, public or private company. So now, we say that Pohang is a little unfamiliar, and I am proud that I know more than any Candidatess who ran here in Pohang Namulung.
Kim Byung-wook > I am raising three children, so naturally I am interested in education and childcare. So first of all, I would like to contribute a lot to enhancing the educational environment and educational competitiveness for our Pohang. This is not just a matter of education, but it must be preceded by educational competitiveness for urban competitiveness. In Pohang, we are attracting a lot of companies to Blue Valley Industrial Complex and Youngilman New Port, but if parents who work there do not have a good school that wants to send their children, there is a high possibility that they will not move here. So we have to create a good school, a competitive school, to prevent our population decline and to attract population.
And although Pohang is a steel industry city centered on POSCO, I think that this existing steel industry alone has a limit to making our city a million cities. In addition, our Pohang is a very beautiful place with such a natural environment of Hyeongsan River, Youngil Bay, and Homi Cape. I have said that we will make our natural environment well and develop our natural environment and make Pohang a good city to be an Instagram. 'Insta' is such an SNS that many young friends do these days. As I uploaded pictures on Insta and took delicious food, a region was rumored, so tourists came in. There are many trends these days, and I think we should make such a space where young people or older people can come and take pictures, enjoy and play together, even if we build a building around the Hyeongsan River and Youngil Bay, or if we build a building around the Hyeongsan River and Youngil Bay. In that sense, I made this proposal to make the Hyeongsan River and Yeongil Bay area a national garden. Now, Suncheon Bay and Ulsan Taehwa River in Korea are designated as national gardens, which can not be achieved in a short time. We all think that if we plan to make this area into a national garden by gathering our will together, and we can do it if we go through this project in 10 years and 15 years.
And I think that it is time to actively review the underground of this railway line 'Gigdong Line', which is called 'Gigdong Line' of POSCO railway line from Hyoja to POSCO. Whether it is a full section or a part of the phase, I think it will be promoted in consultation with Pohang City, POSCO and the Korea Railroad Authority. So I would like to change the top of the park to a space where not only our citizens but also tourists can enjoy it outside.
Kim Yu-jung Yes. Pohang Nam-gu has been constantly complaining about environmental issues such as municipal waste energy facilities, SRF, landfill, industrial complex pollutants. How do you think it should be solved?
Kim Byung-wook > I told you that I am a father who raises three children. I also smell a queer smell and I want to raise my children in a place where black smoke comes up from the factory chimney, and I think I will say, 'Oh, that's really difficult'. I think we need to find new facilities that can replace the current facilities quickly to solve this problem as soon as possible.
Kim Byung-wook > This nomination included me and Moon Chung-woon, who are the newcomers of our Future Integration Party, in the race to meet the people's desire for change and reform, and I think that younger of them made such a judgment that is more suitable for our Pohang citizens and Ulleung people to lead the change and future of our region. Of course, I am a little sorry and I am not sorry for my seniors who have worked for our region for a long time. However, Park Myung-jae, an active member of the local parliament, readily accepted the party's decision and the choice of the citizens, and served as the general election committee chairman. Kim Soon-gyeon, former vice governor of Gyeongbuk province, and Moon Chung-woon, You have gathered strength in the integration and cause of conservatism.
Kim Yoo-jung So-called hometown Candidatesss who claim to have been working with local residents for a long time in the region and citizens who are sympathetic to it are criticizing Kim for leaving their hometown like Kim. What do you think about this?
Kim Byung-wook > Of course you can criticize it. I humbly accept it. However, parliamentary elections are not elections to literally elect lawmakers, municipal councilors or local councilors. I think that what I learned while working in the National Assembly can give us new stimulus and new ideas, and if I combine my youth with the experiences and experiences of seniors who are active in the region and the region, I think that it will contribute to the development of our region.
Kim Yoo-jung Finally, I will finish the interview by listening to what I want to say to local voters.
Kim Byung-wook > I think that I became a Candidatess for the United Future Party as a result of the projection of our United Future Party's willingness to reform our party and achieve political reform through me in my 40s. President Obama was in his 40s when he was first elected president, and in advanced countries in the West, including President Macron of France, the leaders of the 3rd and 40th are very active. I think that I can adapt quickly to the rapidly changing trend of the times and I am in my 40s who can work the most vigorous and dynamic for the region. I will be a proud politician and working member of parliament who listens to small voices in the field of life of our local people and reflects them in the policy for the development of the stagnant Pohang and Ulleung.
Kim Yoo-jung 4.15 Candidatess for the general election. Today, I met Kim Byung-wook of Pohang Namulung Future Integration Party. Thank you today.
Kim Byung-wook> Yeah, thank you.
