Xiumin's fan club, a member of the group EXO, celebrated Xiumin's birthday and practiced sharing for children with disabilities.
According to the Purme Foundation, Xiumin's fan club, Xiumin's Ai (Elsa), donated 3.62 million won as a fund for rehabilitation treatment for children with disabilities instead of gifts for Xiumin's birthday, which is serving in the military on the 26th. Fans chose Donation instead of gifts as Xiumin refused to support the fan club.
Xiumin's Ai (Elsa) has been practicing sharing every year for children with disabilities who are treated at the Purme Foundation NEXOn Children's Rehabilitation Hospital since 2017. So far, it has achieved a cumulative Donation amount of about 20 million won.
“We are going to make our fourth Donation for Xiumin’s thirty-first birthday in December this year,” said an official at the Elsa, “and I hope that the constant passion of fans who resemble Xiumin will be a warm spring breeze in a difficult time, helping children with disabilities regain their health and find their dreams.”
“The mature consciousness of the singer who refuses the gift and the fans who practice Donation according to the will is very beautiful,” said Baek Kyung-hak, executive director of the Purme Foundation. “The funds we have delivered will be used to make children with disabilities take a step closer to their dreams.”
