Another work was born as high as the original work. 'Itaewon Clath', which brought out the taste of Kahaani of the original Character and Dongmyeong, opened the second act coolly.
JTBC's Drama Itaewon Klath is based on Dongmyeong's popular webtoon, and has attracted interest in the industry since its production. Actors such as Park Seo-joon, Lee Jae-myeong, Kim Da-mi, and Kwon Nara were cast and more anticipated for the high synchro rate with the original.
As if to meet expectations, Itaewon Klath has made viewers fall into the Drama by quickly developing the bad relationship between the main Character, Park Seo-joon, and Jangga. Since then, the conflict has been stirred around the Character of the father, starting with the death of the father of the father, and the Characters who are growing up in it were drawn.
The appearance of the main Character who lives in the consciousness rushing for his goal was enough to give the audience a pleasure. In addition, the relationships between Characters (such as evil, love lines, and chemi among the night employees) were properly dissolved in the growth process of Roy, who was going to surpass the market, thereby reviving the flavor of Kahaani.
The reason why the popular element of the original work was fully brought up by Drama was because the original writer wrote the scenario himself. Cho Kwang-jin brought the Drama elements of Webtoon as it is, but differentiated them from the original by different elements of the Dramatic. I refined the Character more stereoscopically and made the details of the Drama fun. For example, Kim Da-mi’s episode of Seo-yool Lee is expressed as a sociopath in the original work, but in Drama, he takes up the night for the public to feel more likeable, and highlights the aspect of doing everything for the Roy. By creating a more humane-feeling Character, I complemented the relationship between Roy and Joe-yool Lee.
In Act 1, Itaewon Klath, which depicts the introduction of Characters, the relationship between Roy and Jangga, and the intertwined relationship between Characters, entered Act 2 from the last 9th and 10th. Park Sae-hee had a full-scale confrontation with Jang-ga Jang Dae-hee (Yoo Jae-myung). The tension is arousing as the Roy moves with the goal of surpassing Jangga, and Jang Dae-hee is confronted with doing everything to break down the night of the Roy.
In Act 2, I wonder what Park will do with Joe-yool Lee to break down Jangga, and what choice he will make in the triangle with Joe-yool Lee and Kwon Nara. Attention is focusing on whether Itaewon Klath, which gives excitement every moment with excitement and tension, will create a highly complete Kahaani without losing its strength until the end.
