Actor Jung Woo-sung will participate as Watchmaker in Netflix new original series Goyo's Sea'.
Netflix announced on the 23rd that it will "produce the new Korean original series and space science fiction thriller Goyo's Sea'" and that Jung Woo-sung will participate in this original as Watchmaker.
Goyo's Sea' is the story of elite members who go to the research base abandoned on the moon to retrieve a sample of questions in the background of the future earth, which is lacking in water and food due to global desertification. The film series is a series of short films of the same name by director Choi Hang-yong, who was noted at the 13th Cinema16: American Short Films in 2014, and is a fascinating story with a tense and unpredictable story in the background of a vast universe.
Jung Woo-sung, who has been raising the best share price as an actor in the 40th Blue Dragon Film Award for Best Actor, has gathered topics in the feature film "Do not forget me" in 2016 as a fresh move to make production and starring at the same time. Expectations are high for another transformation he will show with Netflix as Watchmaker.
The screenplay of Goyo's Sea' is directed by Park Eun-kyo, who won the 29th Korea Film Critics Association Award for the movie 'Mother', and directed by Choi Han-yong, who directed the original.
Meanwhile, Goyo's Sea', in which Jung Woo-sung participates as a Watchmaker, will be released exclusively through Netflix.
