Two Flamingers, who wrote malicious comments and circulated rumors toward actor Song Hye-kyo, were handed over to Prosecution.
“The netizens A and B were Song sited in Prosecution on charges of defamation and insult under the Information and Communications Network Act,” said Police on Wednesday.
According to Police, Mr. A is accused of defaming Song Hye-kyo by posting a false article on his blog in June, when Song Hye-kyo and Song Jung-ki were in the process of divorce, saying, "China's big sponsor is a decisive divorce."
Mr. B is also accused of commenting on Song Hye-kyo in an Internet article that reported the couple's breakdown at a similar time.
Song Hye-kyo sued Police in July for specifying 15 Internet IDs that posted malicious comments and rumors against him. Police has handed over only two of them, including A, who has been identified as a result of the fact that 13 of them have already been withdrawn from the site.
