Actor Yoo Jae-myung has been cast in the main character of JTBC's new gilt drama Itaewon Klath.
Itaewon Klath is a work based on the next webtoon of the same name, which depicts the 'hip' rebellion of youths who are united in an unreasonable world, stubbornness and passengerhood. Their entrepreneurial myths are unfolding in the small streets of Itaewon, which seem to have compressed the world, chasing freedom with their own values.
Yoo Jae-myung is the role of Jang Dae-hee, chairman of Jangga, a large food service industry company, and shows a unique transformation of acting. Jang Dae-hee, who has overcome his turbulent childhood and is a monster in the food service industry, is the owner of an intense 'Javiris' charisma that can make everyone shrink in a word. It is expected to create a tension that is at the center of the drama by spreading a hot confrontation with Park Sae-roi (Park Seo-joon), who was entangled by his son's accident in the past.
Yoo Jae-myung has led the drama as a leading actor through TVN drama Secret Forest and JTBC Life. In the TVN drama Confession, he played the role of the main character, Ki Chun-ho, and expressed his commitment and enthusiasm of the criminal detective detective, proving the power of the actor who believes and sees. In the new starring film Itaewon Klath, Yoo Jae-myung's style predicts the birth of a previous-class character that will create a unique mature acting process, expecting different charisma and intense force release.
