According to ITunes on the 16th, their Japanese version of "Fake Love" (FAKE Love), a new Japanese single released to World at 0 o'clock on the day, topped the ITunes "Top Song" charts in 38 regions including Argentina, Chile, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Indonesia and Vietnam.
"Fake Love" is the title song for the album "Love Yourself Former Tear" (Love YOURSELF Tear) released by BTS in May, and it was ranked #10 on the Billboard main single chart "Hot 100" at the time and #1 on the ITunes "Top Song" charts in 52 regions around World.
This soundtrack was not a new song, but it was released as a download, not a streaming, but a powerful soundtrack power.
BTS, which is set to tour Japan in November, will release its ninth single, "Fake Love/Airplane! Part.2" (FAKE Love/Airplane! pt.2), which includes the song, locally on the 7th of the same month.
The single includes four songs: 'Fake Love', 'Airplane! Part.2' Japanese version, 'Idol' remix, and 'Fake Love' Japanese version remix. Originally, "Bird" was to be included, written by Yasushi Akimoto, a J-pop Producerss who planned the girl group AKB48, but it fell into the voice of fans' opposition.
Following the single release, they will be hosting a total of 380,000-seat "Love Yourself" (Love YOURSELF) tours starting with Tokyo Dome on November 13-14, Osaka Kyocera Dome on November 21 and 23-24, Nagoya Nagoya Dome on January 12-13 next year, and Fukuoka Yahoo Cudome on February 16-17.
The European tour will be completed with a total of 100,000 seats after the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany, on the 16th and 17th (local time) and the Acor Hotel Arena in Paris, France, on the 19th and 20th. In Berlin, fans are reported to have stayed in front of the venue for a long night, and local media have been covering the scene.
