For Ko Sung-hee, Suits' Ji-na Kim is also special. In fact, he had a cheerful personality, and he said that Ji-na Kim was the closest to him, so he became more attached. In addition, Ji-na Kim, who could evoke this, was more precious to Ko Sung-hee because she played a dark role in abusing her child in her previous work 'Mother'. Ko Sung-hee added that he was healing a lot with Suits'.
Ko Sung-hee, who was dev in 2013, solidified his foundation as an actor by playing various characters from Miss Korea to professional prosecutors, mothers who abuse children, and competent paralegals. He has grown up in a terraced manner and has now confessed that he has a desire to lead a work by starring in the lead role. Another area of Ko Sung-hee's interest is entertainment. He laughed delightfully, saying he wanted to break the image and become a "queen of entertainment." From the pale-colored actor to the queen of entertainment, I recently met actor Ko Sung-hee who dreams of various titles.
(Following Interview 3)
Q. DeV. Six years. I've been growing steadily. I'm starting to get a lot of stardom.
"Yes, I haven't thought about the amount of it in the meantime, but now I want to be in charge of one piece, rather than covering the genre, I want to do my own work. I think we should not experiment because we have to be responsible for Choices as a main character. If I'm given the opportunity to star, I think it's right to do what I can do well. "
Q. DeV is late for 24 years. I have a special reason.
"I went to the theater film department, but it was late to dream of being an actor, and at the time I did not think that I would be an actor in the field, and I just dreamed of studying and becoming a professor. I had a preconceived notion of the entertainment industry and feared it, and then I wanted to make sure that I could show it acting by the second grade, and I became thirsty. I auditioned vaguely, and then I met my company and started acting. I lived hard. I am proud to look back. I was dazzled by the glowing in front of my nose when I was a kid, but now I have a lot of room to spare; I still like to work in the field, so I try to study when the time is right.”
Q. Did your parents object to acting?
“By the time I started acting, he was opposed. I watched theater movies and exams. But he passed and then he understood. I think he's bragging around. (laughing)"
Q. No slumps in his career as an actor.
"There was a slump in the blanks - after doing the deV, I worked nonstop. I had a lot of opportunities that I had, and I felt a lot of pressure on it, and I felt dragged away regardless of my will. Then I rested and the rest was longer than I thought, and it was hard, but in the meantime, I blamed others, and I gave up, and the time to accept (all situations) naturally came. The slump naturally got over when he returned."
Q. What does Ko Sung-hee in his 30s look like?
"I'm so looking forward to it, I don't have any fear of getting older strangely, it's nice to feel like I'm getting older, more roles I can play, and more ages that fit an intense character. I think I should get my position firmly as soon as possible. "
Q. What is your goal for this year?
"I wish I had been working on the day I turned 30 when I was six months away from my 30s, and I also want to get Park Hyung-sik and Best Couple Award in the "Play Awards." But to get it, you have to compete with senior Jang Dong-gun, so... I wish I could get (laughs)."
Q. What kind of actor do you want to be in the future?
"I want to be an actor who believes and sees: I want the work that Ko Sung-hee has done Choices to be curious and trustworthy."
