Jang Dong-joo, who transformed into a YouTuber after retiring as an actor, is making a fresh start as a professional executive.
According to Star News, Ilgan Sports, and the entertainment industry on the 22nd, Woosun Group Co., Ltd., where Jang Dong-joo serves as CEO, is reportedly currently formulating a mid-to-long-term growth strategy aimed at an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
Woosun Group has subsidiaries across various business sectors. It is reported that Jang Dong-joo has been receiving management training alongside his father, the chairman of a construction company.
After making his debut in 2012, Jang Dong-joo appeared in the drama *School 2017* and the movie *Count*, but he announced his retirement last May following a mobile phone hacking incident and massive debt issues.
He recently changed his profile occupation to "Entrepreneur" and is also preparing to launch a YouTube Excel Live broadcast this coming October.
