JYP Entertainment's girl group NiziU is returning to Korea with a diverse concept.
NiziU will release their first domestic mini-album, "Sour Grapes," on the 28th. Recently, they showcased their chameleon-like visuals by releasing teaser content featuring grapes on their official social media channels, including a prologue film, mood poster, promotional scheduler, and online digital cover.
From the 11th to the 13th, they released teaser images that offer a preview of the new album's atmosphere. In a group photo set against an intense neon green background with the members leaning on a sofa, they captivated attention with their unique styling and bold poses.
In a photo featuring the members against a backdrop of a field lined with grapevines in a dark forest, chic yet somewhat solemn expressions combined with a dreamy landscape completed a fantasy mood.
In their individual photos, they presented a variety of charms, ranging from calm and natural looks to highlighting kitsch through surreal and witty staging using grape props, or conveying dynamic energy by transforming into snipers. Attention is focused on the unique music and stories that NiziU, who has sparked curiosity with a unique concept centered on grapes, will present through their new album.
The new album, "Sour Grapes," marks their domestic comeback approximately a year and a half after their second single, "LOVE LINE," released in March 2025.
Since their official Korean debut in October 2023 with their first single, "Press Play," they have brought pleasant excitement to music fans with their signature loveliness. Ahead of this comeback, they have continued to achieve success, including recently receiving Gold Disc Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan for their second Japanese EP, "GOOD GIRL BUT NOT FOR YOU."
Meanwhile, NiziU's first Korean mini-album, "Sour Grapes," will be available for listening on various music streaming sites on September 28 at 6 PM.
