MBC’s special series “The Killers’ Shopping Mall” is recording viewership ratings in the 1% range, showing a significant gap compared to competing shows in the same time slot. Based on a novel by writer Kang Ji-young, the drama follows the survival story of Jo Ji-an, a niece who becomes the target of killers due to a dangerous inheritance left by her uncle, Jeong Jin-man.
In the recently aired second episode, as attacks on Jeong Ji-an intensified, the viewership rating dropped to 1.3% nationwide. This represents a gap of more than 16 times compared to the 21.6% recorded by “Director Kim,” starring So Ji-sub, which aired in the same time slot.
