(G)I-DLE held a media showcase on July 6 at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their 9th mini-album, “We made.” This album marks their first new release in six months since their digital single last January, with members Soyeon and Woogi demonstrating their musical prowess by participating directly in the songwriting process.
“We made” is an album that emphasizes a more pop-oriented sound than previous releases, featuring a diverse selection of tracks including the title track “Gimme Dat Love,” as well as “Mono (Feat. skaiwater),” “Crow,” “Morning,” and “Love Is Pain.” In particular, this album has been praised for further expanding iDOL’s unique musical universe, as the members are credited as songwriters themselves.
