Actor Nicholas of Flüe Keiji, 58, and his 31-year-old Japanese wife appeared together in the official ceremony.
Keiji, along with his wife Shivata Rico, 27, attended the premiere of The Unjustable Weight Of Massive Tale, a film from the 2022 SXSW conference at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday.
Keiji showed affection by holding on to his fifth wife, Rico,'s hand on the red carpet. Keiji wore a red plaid suit, and Rico caught the eye by wearing a black fringe midi dress costume perfectly and hanging black straight hair.
The pair secretly married in February 2021 in United States of America Las Vegas; Rico is now pregnant.
Keiji's new film, "The Unbearable Weight of Huge Talent," scheduled to open on April 22, is a comedy directed by Tom Gomican, who directed the movie "That Aquad Moment."
Keiji plays the star of the previous year in the prime of the play. It tells the story of what happens when he accepts a $1 million offer from a wealthy fan (Pedro Pascal) to attend a party in Spain.
The director sent a letter explaining his ideas and begged Keiji to take on the role; Keiji reportedly refused the role three or four times and eventually accepted it.
In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Keiji mentioned his wife Rico without hesitation in a request to reveal the people he cares about most in his life.
The two first met in Japan in 2020 when Keiji was filming the film "Frizzeners of the Ghostland."
Keiji said he is well aligned with his fifth wife, Rico, and said he is "happy married." He said, "I know there are many times," he said honestly, referring to the number of marriages.
