KBS has been accused of animal abuse in the KBS drama 'Taejong Yi Bang-won', which said it was in the process of confirming the related content to the production team.
On the 19th, the Animal Freedom Solidarity claimed that the words used for filming were abused at KBS1 'Taejong Yi Bang-won', which is being aired recently.
The scene where the Animal Freedom Solidarity raised the issue is the scene where the main character Lee Sung-gye (Kim Young-chul) rides on a horse in the 7th episode of the play. In the scene, the body of the horse sounds 90 degrees and it is pointed out that it has fallen from head to floor.
The Yantai side said, "The viewers are complaining that they are posting a petition asking for the safety of the horse on the bulletin board of the KBS homepage viewer's petition." He expressed great concern that the words on the broadcast may have suffered serious harm. "With the release of the current state of the horse, release the original with the scene."
In addition, the solidarity side said that there is no mention of animals in the Code of Ethics in the KBS broadcasting production guidelines. "We should use CG and dummy instead of tooling animals." Specifically, "The safety problem of animals used for broadcasting shooting is not today yesterday. Especially, the words that appear frequently in the historical drama are directed as if they fall down by the way of wrapping their ankles around fishing ropes. This production is likely to cause fatal injuries to animals. "
"It is a shameful behavior to treat animals as 'propriety' for broadcasting on KBS, a public broadcaster," said Cho Hee-kyung, a representative of the Animal Freedom Solidarity. "The KBS Code of Ethics provides practical regulations to guarantee animal safety when broadcasting, and when shooting broadcasts featuring animals, we must take measures for animal safety."
KBS said, "We are in the process of confirming the related contents and delivering them to the production team."
