'Meisa's Song' is based on two countries with a completely different culture: Kamur, a fictional country that has been in civil war for a long time, and Korea, where K-POP auditions are held. The story leads to the process of coming to Korea in search of Meisa (meaning bright star), a soldier who gave dreams and hopes to himself, centered on Raman, who grew up in Kamur.
musical 'Maesa's Song', where fictional state Kamur and Korea, present and past are constantly crossed and the story is developed, expresses two spaces with different cultures and ideologies in various genres of sound including K-POP, so that freshness and interest can be felt at the same time. It also seeks to expand the military's material and military role, and expects a new story to show the power of culture instead of guns, knives and wars.
In Yeon Jun-seok, who applied for dispatch with a friend's proposal and came to Kamur, Myoeng-su Kim ( Marine Private) and Chong Tae-hyon (Army Corporal) were cast in the role of 'Ramman' who visited Korea while participating in K-POP auditions. Yoon Sun-ho, who later worked at the United Nations and dreamed of helping people and contributing to world peace, was named Yong Suk Moon, and two musical stars Brad Little and Michael Lee will appear as commanders of the UN Peacekeeping Command, adding weight to their work and showing a strong presence.
"Maisa's Song" is set for an untapped performance (online streaming relay) from October 15-17.
