Actor Song Hye-kyo made a meaningful sponsorship for the 75th anniversary of the Korean Liberation Army.
SEO Kyoung-Duk Sungshin Women's University professor said on his SNS on the 15th that "I donated a large signboard to the village of Japan Utoro with Song Hye-kyo for the 75th anniversary of the Korean Liberation Army."
Utoro village was a place where Koreans were forced to build military airfields during the Japanese colonial rule. It is now known that about 150 Korean residents live in Japan.
The signboard was also produced in Korean, Japanese and English, two meters across and 1.5 meters long, with the phrases and designs that the villagers of Utoro wanted.
“We have set up the entrance to the village because visitors have difficulty getting down to the subway station and visiting the Utoro town hall, Eruhwa,” he said.
The two have been steadily leading the way in promoting Korean history: for the past nine years, they have consistently provided Korean guides, Korean signboards, and relief works by independence activists at the sites of the Independence Movement around the world every national anniversary.
“The situation in the historical sites of Korea that remain overseas is not very good because of the Corona 19 incident this year,” Professor Seo said. “The more we need to pay more attention to this,” he said.
Finally, I also predicted the ongoing project. "The collaboration of 'Planning SEO Kyoung-Duk - Sponsored Song Hye-kyo' will continue," he said. “I’m always grateful,” he added.
