The production team apologized on the official website on the 29th, correcting the ranking Error on the live broadcast on the 24th. “The fourth week of July K-chart is Sehun & Chanyeol, and the second place is Zheng Zheng with Black Pink,” the production team said. “The ranking Error occurred in the process of counting the number of broadcasts among various factors, and as a result of reviewing it, there was a mistake in the check process.”
“I apologize deeply for the confusion we have caused you and the two Artists,” he said, and promised to “do my best to prevent it from happening again in the future.”
The criticism continues. It is not the first time Music Bank has changed its rankings. In 2016, Error was created in the process of counting the record scores, and the first place in AOA was passed to Twice.

Music Bank's K-chart rankings are composed of digital sound source (65%), number of broadcasts (20%), preference for viewers (10%), and music sales (5%).
