I'm going to watch dramas, movies, and entertainment and then I'm going to say, "When I'm born again, I want to live like that character (people)." In '2020 is like this person', I look at the characters in the movies and dramas that I want to resemble.
The New Year of 2020 is bright: everyone looks back on myself in the past year and has the aspiration to become a different person in the New Year. The direction each individual has is different, such as achieving his or her lifelong dream, traveling, or creating a year of care for his or her relationships with people. From the New Year to the New Year, we give greetings to others to celebrate the New Year. In that time, almost a month, we greet each other and share a positive feeling about this year, and ponder how we want to live.
The New Year holidays are the time to sort out those ideas. Some people dream of living like successful people in reality, and some people dream of life like a character in a movie or drama. We have already seen the lives of many real people and characters in the story, and there must be a person who has the tendency and direction to go.
Of the many characters, I chose people in the movie in the New Year of 2020 who would think that people would like to live like this person. He may have a huge dream, or he may be satisfied with the smallest thing in difficult situations, and he may also be a person who changes his perception of life through some enlightenment. Why do not you think about what kind of person you want to live in the New Year during the New Year holidays?
The film Lara Land tells the story of an aspiring actor, AAmia Moretti Moretti (Emma Stone), and jazz pianist Sebastian (Ryan Gosling). AAmia Moretti Moretti's dream is to succeed as an actor, and Sebastian is playing a small jazz cafe and telling people true jazz. Throughout the movie, these two try to achieve their dreams, but they have a lot of difficulties.
AAmia Moretti Moretti is desperate to be auditioned repeatedly, and Sebastian is a jazz pianist who meets a new team and creates an environment where he can achieve his dream. Their love is beautiful, but it seems precarious: I wish they could both have a dream, but it’s different. They meet quite seriously and maintain a relationship, and they exchange opinions about their dreams, even though they have not got the results, and the process is divergent and the relationship between them is getting farther and farther away.
“There are people who are not talented and full of passion, and I guess I was one of them.”
The heroine’s self-help complaint is the easiest word we can say to ourselves in a desperate situation, and there are still many people who think that their efforts are worthless. Nevertheless, some people continue to challenge their dreams. The main characters in the film chose to achieve their dreams rather than their relationships. Especially, AAmia Moretti Moretti, who is inspired by Sebastian, eventually passes the audition and achieves her dreams one by one. Sebastian eventually creates a cafe he wants to do.
In fact, the film has confronted dreams and love, causing the main characters to feel the pain of parting, and in reality, there are many cases where we choose to parting with friends or lovers because of our dreams. I wonder if the dream I really want is a magical power to achieve even if I put a part of my life. Even if you do not break up with each other like the main characters in the movie, 2020 will be a year when you can throw everything you have for your dreams like AAmia Moretti Moretti and Sebastian in the movie.
He wants to get out of his daily life like a wheel, but it is not easy to get out of his job at a magazine, and his relationship with a favorite woman is just in imagination. The film, which finds that the film with the necessary photos on the cover of the magazine is missing and leaves to find the photographer, shows Walter's adventures gradually. He is clumsy and doesn’t know what to do, but he makes mistakes and moves on toward his goal without giving up. As he gets closer to his goal, the process becomes his life itself.
He eventually meets photographer Sean O'Connell (Shawn Penn), who was taking pictures of the animal, stops taking pictures and stares at the animal's actions. Walter is anxious about the moment he needs to take a picture, but what Sean says is quite meaningful.
"When I see a beautiful moment, I don't want to interrupt with the camera, I just want to stay in that moment."
The scene where Walter is adventurous in the movie contains beautiful scenery. The scene where he runs on a skateboard on a road without anyone gives a wonder beyond beauty. When Walter truly enjoys the beautiful moment as Sean says, we all stay in that beautiful moment. We all have our own adventures. Whether it's big or small, we have no choice but to jump in there. One step forward makes the imagination real. In 2020, it would be nice to make a scene where you jump into a beautiful moment and stay in that moment, just like Walter did.
The film is a process of persuading other employees to maintain their jobs. Sandra looks tired throughout the movie and is likely to give up at any moment. It seems that the rest of the staff is not easy to give up the bonus, which is a pretty large amount, because it is difficult to do so. What if we were Sandra’s location in the movie? Maybe we all tried to persuade other employees just the same, rather than just give up. It is not the way he wanted to be, but it is natural to struggle to keep it. Sandra looks at the mirror in desperate situations and promises to stretch.
"Stand by, don't cry."
The important thing is Sandra's situation, which persuaded other employees so hard but did not get the desired vote results. Sandra, who has been struggling alone for her place, is offered the condition that the company will create a place and give the rest of the employees a bonus, but then give them a contract worker who will soon expire. But after a long time, Sandra doesn’t accept the offer, and she doesn’t push someone else into the situation she was in for her place. Sandra, who persuaded a few employees but eventually failed to keep her place, makes the choice to keep someone else's place. As she leaves the last company, Sandra laughs and tells her husband.
"We fought well, didn't we? I'm happy."
Although Sandra's situation ended badly, she tried to keep her place as best she could and did not invade anyone else's place. In a series of desperate situations, Sandra did her best, and felt a little happiness in itself, someone would be in a similar desperate situation in the New Year. Even if you are standing in such a difficulty with your choice, if you do your best to stand in your standing position and struggle to keep your duty, maybe it will be a year for tomorrow to feel a little pride like Sandra in the movie.
Sun Ho (Jung Woo-sung) in the movie Witness works as a large law firm, but he has been helping people with difficulties with his legal knowledge in the past. He has a relationship with him around Jiu to prove that the testimony of the autistic child Jiu (Kim Hyang-gi), who witnessed the murder, is unbelievable. His efforts paradoxically make him look at as a human being, not as an autistic child.
'I wish I was so smart and not autistic.' 'Then it's not erased.'
While talking to Jiu's mother, Sunho still looks at Jiu as an autistic child. Sunho, who sees her mother as a human being who treats Jiu as it is, changes gradually after that. In fact, the distinction of 'different' of Sunho makes people with disabilities look at other eyes without even knowing themselves. The movie Witness shows the process of realizing that such a net is a little different for people with disabilities. Maybe we all have a relationship with another person every day, and it would be nice to have that 'different' in the New Year and make a year to accept it. In the end, we are not different from the movie.
Anna seems to be playing an assistant role next to Elsa in the sequel, which was released a while ago, but throughout the series Anna either gives up or does not avoid the difficulties she will be hit. Perhaps it is Anna's true ability to not have the ability to be expressed on the outside.
"I have to do what I have to do now."
Even after the desperate situation of losing Elsa, Anna catches herself and goes forward again saying that she has to do what she has to do now. It is harder than I thought to get out of the swamp and do what I have to do now than to be in the sadness even in a big ordeal. Living a life with the attitude of infinite affirmation that is often talked about is difficult to maintain every time in the difficult situation of oneself.
It will be an easy year for individuals in 2020. There is no such thing as Elsa, but if you can take a step forward and do what you have to do, you will eventually reach the goal we want to achieve. 2020 would be nice to create a year to do what you have to do while catching yourself like Anna in the movie.
