Actor Song Hye-kyo did another good deed.
Seo Kyung-duk, a professor at Sungshin Women's University, said on the 17th, "Today's 17th is the day of the Sunguk Line Day," and "The Sunguk Line Day is a statutory anniversary day enacted to honor the spirit of independence and sacrifice of Sunguk Line, To celebrate this day, I donated 10,000 copies of guides made in Korean and English to the Ahn Changho Family House in United States of America LA with Actor Song Hye-kyo "
“This year is a historic year, the 100th anniversary of the March 1 Movement and South Korea Provisional Government, so it is good to donate to the site of the new Independence Movement, but we have been steadily carrying out projects to refill the guides so that the guides will not be stopped at places we have done so far,” he said. We are feeling a great deal of pride together. "
“The first time I started collaborating with Hye-kyo eight years ago, I have already donated Korean guides to 18 sites of the World Independence Movement,” he said. “In a recent conversation with Hye-kyo, I set a goal to donate all Korean guides even if it takes a long time to all the sites of the South Korea Independence Movement spread throughout the World.”
“I think it will be possible in the next 10 years,” said Seo. “The collaboration of the project, Seo Kyung-duk and the sponsor Song Hye-kyo, will continue in the future.”
The Dosan Ahn Changho Family House is a place where the family of Ahn Changho moved to United States of America in 1914 and was a meeting place for fun independence activists at the time. It is currently being used as a research institute for Korean Studies at Namgaju University (USC). Professor Seo and Song Hye-kyo made 10,000 guidebooks in Korean and English in 2015.
Professor Seo Kyung-duk and Song Hye-kyo have been providing Korean guides to 18 World Independence Movement sites for eight years. The museum has also been supporting the Hangul Guide to the World's famous art museums, the Natural History Museum, and London, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Toronto Natural History Museum, and London.
