Idol group BTS (BTS, RM Jean Jimin J-Hope Sugar V Jungkook) unfortunately failed to nominate the Grammy Awards.
United States of America Record Arts and Science Academy released its list of the 61st Grammy Awards on the 7th (local time). Unfortunately, BTS has not been nominated for major categories, including the New Artist. The Grammy Awards nominations included Chloe X Harley, Luke Combs, Greta Van Fleet, H.E.R., Dua Lipa, Margot Price, Rain Rain Lexa and Joja Smith.
However, the part where BTS' third album LOVE yourself 'Tear' was named as a candidate for the Grammy Award Best Recording Package category attracted attention. Technically, this nominator is right to say that Husky Fox, who participated in the design of the album, was nominated rather than the BTS and LOVE yourself 'Tear' album.
Meanwhile, Grammy Awards’ Record of the Year nominees include Drake “God’s Plan,” Cardi Rain “I Like It,” and Childish Gam Rainno “This Is America,” and Post Malone “R in the Album of the Year” category. Ain-a-bong & Bentleys, Cardi Rain 'Invasion of Privacy' and Drake's 'Scorpion' (Scorpion) have risen.
Earlier, BTS was named the Top Social The Artist Award for the second consecutive year at the 2018 Billboards Music Awards in May, followed by the first Payborit Social The Artist Awards in October at the 2018 American Music Awards.
Since then, LOVE yourself 'Tear' and yourself 'Answer' have both become the top performers on the Billboards 200 chart, and the possibility of their first relationship with the Grammy Awards, the only stage that has not stepped on, has been highlighted.
However, this year's Grammy Awards have not actually allowed the stage to be played in this tremendous performance of BTS.
BTS has previously made a connection with Grammy by facing fans through "Conversation with BTS" at the United States of America's Grammy Museum Clive Day Rain Theater on September 12, and expectations for the Grammy Award nomination have also increased.
However, United States of America also reported unfavorable reports about BTS' entry into Grammy. "BTS will not be nominated for this Grammy Award rookie," the United States of America economic magazine Forbes said in a November 15 report. "BTS does not meet the criteria for this category of the Grammy Awards. BTS has topped the Billboards 200 chart twice in 2018, but BTS has released too many Music to be included in the sector's regulations," he added.
The 61st Grammy Awards will be held on February 10, 2019 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
