9 ~ 10 days 20,000 seats O2 Arena performance Amsterdam - Berlin - Paris will collect 500,000 fans ... next month Japan
The next stage is London, England, where Beatles was born.
Group BTS (BTS), which has successfully completed the North America tour after a New York City City Field performance on the 6th, will land across the Atlantic Ocean in Europe this time. BTS will continue its world tour Love Yourself performance at the London O2 Arena on the 9th and 10th.
London is Europe's best music sanctuary: from classical music such as Handel and Elgar to the center of music where British pop coexists, such as Beatles, Queen and Pink Floyd. In particular, Abbey Road 3 northwest of central London is well known as the location of Beatles' recording studio. There, Beatles' last album, Abby Lorde, was born in 1969; the 20,000-seat O2 Arena is a symbolic stage of London in the 21st century. After opening in 2007, various sports events and concerts were held. It was used as a basketball and gymnastics stadium at the 2012 London Olympics and performed by world-renowned musicians such as Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Kendrick Lamar.
BTS will meet local fans in Amsterdam, Netherlands on the 13th, Berlin in Germany on the 16th and 17th, and Paris in France on the 19th and 20th. It is a seven-time performance in four cities; from November 13, the dome tour will be held in four cities in Japan. Starting with the 50,000-seat Tokyo Dome, it will show songs and dances at the Osaka (Great) Kyocera Dome, Nagoya Dome and Fukuoka Dome.
Over the past month, there have been a total of 220,000 people in seven North America cities and 15 performances. Europe and Japan are expected to attract more than 500,000 visitors.
Meanwhile, after the New York City performance, foreign media reported a syndrome-like phenomenon about BTS. Local visitors were standing in line outside the theater from the day before, or the New York City subway posted an unusual route announcement. The New York City Times said, "BTS has heated the stage and fans have filled the rest." Rolling Stone said, "BTS has decorated the North America tour with the City Field performance."
