What to do about Cha Ye-ryun → A string of bad news... Former caddy exposes, "Ignored people selectively"
Following the school violence allegations surrounding actress Cha Ye-ryun, additional revelations have emerged from a person claiming to be a former caddy.
However, Baek Eun-young urged for careful judgment, stating, "This could be a one-sided claim or a false one."
When Cha Ye-ryun was named as the perpetrator, her agency, HB Entertainment, categorically denied the allegations, calling them "groundless." Subsequently, conflicting posts from those claiming to be classmates followed, and related comments were also posted on her husband Joo Sang-wook's account. Cha Ye-ryun's channel closed some comment sections, stating it would prevent personal attacks against her family.
As of the 2nd, access to the initial exposé post was restricted due to a temporary measure taken in accordance with the Information and Communications Network Act. A temporary measure is not a procedure to determine the veracity of a post, and the facts regarding the raised allegations have not yet been confirmed. Cha Ye-ryun's side stated, "There is no further statement regarding the school violence allegations."
** In February 2024, Cha Ye-ryun revealed on her channel that she had visited a golf course with her mother-in-law and husband, Joo Sang-wook. At the time, she boasted about their close relationship, saying, "They say there aren't many people who play golf with a daughter-in-law and mother-in-law like this. The caddy said it was the first time she had seen it." Her mother-in-law also expressed her affection for her daughter-in-law, saying, "Thanks to my lovely daughter-in-law, I was invited to such a nice golf course today."
