Lee Chan-hyuk, holding hands tightly and even dancing with 'dating rumor' Ha Ji-soo... 'Intimate two-shot' captured on broadcast
AKMU member Lee Chan-hyuk garnered attention after footage was released showing him dancing hand-in-hand with actress Ha Ji-soo, with whom he was previously linked in dating rumors.
On the 31st of last month, AKMU members Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Su-hyun appeared on the MBC variety show "Omniscient Interfering View" (hereinafter "Omniscient View").
On this day, Lee Chan-hyuk revealed his daily life at "Fountain of Inspiration," the company he founded. AKMU ended their exclusive contract with YG Entertainment late last year and have been continuing their activities under their new agency, "Fountain of Inspiration," since January of this year.
After the weekly meeting ended, Lee Chan-hyuk and his staff headed to a swing dance academy. At the academy, Lee Su-hyun, along with the dancers who participated in AKMU's music video "Paradise of Rumors" and the band members, were gathered.
In particular, actress Ha Ji-soo, who was previously linked to Lee Chan-hyuk in dating rumors, was also present, drawing attention.
Ha Ji-soo and Lee Chan-hyuk were previously embroiled in dating rumors last January.
Ha Ji-soo formed a connection with Lee Chan-hyuk while appearing in the music video for "Dance," the title track of the first album "Umbrella" by his project group, Lee Chan-hyuk Video, where she played a couple with him. At the time, Lee Chan-hyuk's side took a cautious stance regarding the dating rumors, stating, "It is a private matter, so we cannot confirm it."
Subsequently, Ha Ji-soo collaborated with Lee Chan-hyuk once again by appearing in the music video for AKMU's "Paradise of Rumors," released last April. It garnered even more attention as it was reported that she appeared in the music video personally, without going through her agency.
As such, the two, who have maintained their connection through music video work even after the dating rumors, drew interest by appearing together again on this broadcast.
On this day, the team members performed swing dances while switching partners, and Lee Chan-hyuk naturally paired up with Ha Ji-soo to dance. The sight of the two holding hands and matching their chemistry caught the eye.
Meanwhile, Ha Ji-soo, born in 1995 and one year older than Lee Chan-hyuk, began her entertainment career in 2015 by appearing in Stella Jang's "I GO" music video. Since then, she has continued her activities by appearing in the music video for Humming Urban Stereo's "20" and the web drama "National Death Penalty Vote."
