The late Oh In-hye’s passion for acting: “If only the opportunity came,” communicating until two days before her death… The tragic 6th anniversary of her passing
Six years have passed since the passing of actress Oh In-hye.
Oh In-hye passed away on September 14, 2020, at the age of 36.
She was found by a friend in a state of cardiac arrest at her home in Songdo International City, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. Although she was transported to a hospital, she was ultimately pronounced dead. At the time, the police concluded the investigation without any suspicion of foul play.
Debuting in 2011 with the film *Crime of Our Neighbors*, she gained recognition through the film *Red Vacation, Black Wedding*, which was released that same year. Subsequently, she was active in various films such as *A Walk in the Master Class*, *Living Life*, *Wish Taxi*, *No Breathing*, and *Design*, as well as dramas like *The Horse Doctor* and *Drama Special: Returning Home - Firecracker Play*.

Later, appearing on the channel 'Current Status Olympics,' he stated, "I became the center of attention at the film festival opening ceremony, but that ingrained image did not have a positive impact on me as an actor who needs to play diverse roles." He added, "I filmed a few projects with that image, but that was as far as it went. I wasn't offered characters that allowed me to portray a different image, and I think that gave me some weariness."
Nevertheless, the deceased actively operated a personal channel and communicated with fans. The tragedy is compounded by the fact that he continued to communicate by releasing videos right up until just two days before his passing.
