Rapper Dok2 (Dok2), who is in controversy over the unpaid precious metals, will resume his activities by working with a new domestic agency.
143 Entertainment, which recently signed an agent contract with Dok2, said on the 21st, "Dok2 will announce the single 'First Rollie' at 6 pm on the 23rd."
According to 143 Entertainment, this album is said to have a little talk about the past days after the dismantling of Ilinaire Records.
Dok2, co-founder and CEO of Illineer Records, left the company in February last year after dropping his leadership job in November 2019; Illineer Records later closed in early July last year.
But it’s not just a welcome response to his long-standing credentials, because the controversy over his unpaid precious metals has not yet been resolved.
Dok2 was accused of not paying the goods from A jeweler Kim Moo, a United States of America Los Angeles, in 2019.
Kim filed a lawsuit against Illineer Records in October 2019 claiming that Dok2 purchased and received seven items worth $206,000 (247.2 million won) and only partially transferred them from September 25, 2018 to May 29, 2019.
However, Mr. A lost his case in October 2019 in a goods price claim lawsuit with Ilynarecoz, which he determined was hard to see as his agency having to pay for goods.
Kim filed a lawsuit against Dok2 individuals again in September last year, and in December last year, the Seoul Southern District Court (civil affairs 6) Judgmented the plaintiff's victory, saying, "The defendant should pay 400,000 won for unpaid payment and interest to the plaintiff."
However, Dok2 disobeyed the court's Judgment, and in January, Dok2's attorney reportedly submitted an appeal to the court.
Dok2, which is continuing its legal battle due to the controversy over the payment of precious metals, is expected to be discussed.
Meanwhile, 143 Entertainment is a company led by DM representative producer who has been in a relationship since the debut of Dok2, and belongs to Gang Ye Seo and Marciro of girl group Kepler.
