Japan top singer Missha (MISIA) sings a Kimi song at the opening ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
On July 23, Japan Media Nikkan Sports reported that Missha is proposing a kimmy song at the opening ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Missha reportedly advocated Kimiyo at the opening ceremony and famous Kabuki actor Ichikawa Ebizo appeared as director.
Kimi-gayo, Japan's state, is considered a symbol of Japan Imperialism along with the Ukil-Sungcheongi, as it contains a praise of the Japanese king.
Kimi-yo is also expected to cause controversy in the Japanese society, and the sign of resonating at the opening ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics is expected to cause controversy.
