All contents were inserted with special braille of water drop type using natural materials, and stories related to characteristics such as appearance and habit of each animal were composed in a simple and interesting story format. Commentators and detailed artists participating in voice recordings were selected through public offerings since January, and a total of 75 people participated in story commentary and sound production. An animal introduction song also was inserted by the DMC Children's Choir.
With the support of SK Co., Ltd. C&C, it also included the voices of actors Lee Byung-hun and Han Ji-min, who expressed their intention to donate their voices in advance by applying artificial intelligence (AI) voice conversion technology. Lee’s voice can be heard in the commentary of the goshawk and owl, and Han can be heard in the commentary of the hawk and musk roe.
The publication of this multimedia Braille Sensibility Book, which was promoted as a key task of the Cultural Heritage Administration, was selected as a best case of government innovation in September. The National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage will distribute this multimedia Braille book free of charge to blind schools and blind institutions nationwide.
