A court to hear the divorce mediation case between Song Joong-ki (34) and Song Hye-kyo (37), who were dismissed after a year and eight months of marriage, was allocated.
However, it will take more than a month to catch the date of adjustment.
According to the legal circle on the 27th, the Seoul Family Court allocated the divorce mediation case filed by Song Joong-ki to the 12th Household (Jang Jin-young, chief judge).
As Song Joong-ki applied for mediation the day before, it is said that there are no documents submitted by both sides yet.
Divorce mediation is a procedure in which a couple divorces after court mediation without going through a formal trial. If the two sides have agreed 100% on the divorce terms, they can divorce the divorce, but if there is a disagreement in some minor parts, the court will proceed with the mediation process.
If the two sides agree on the mediation, the decision will have the same effect: however, if the mediation is not established, it will be transferred to the formal divorce proceedings.
Both Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo want to organize their marriage relationship smoothly, so the adjustment is expected to be made without difficulty.
The court will set a month or so of consideration in case of no children in the mediation case, and the first mediation date of the two cases is expected to be caught by the end of July. However, since the court's regular recess period is from the end of July to the beginning of August, there is a high possibility that the adjustment date will be caught in early August.
