The Korea Communications Commission, 'Running Man' and 'Hide and Seek' court sanctions..."There is a concern that male sexual harassment will be justified."
Educational Broadcasting System has decided to impose legal sanctions on Running Man and Hide and Seek, which broadcasts what may cause sexual harassment of men.
The Korea Communications Standards Commission held a full meeting on the 7th and voted on legal sanctions for programs such as Running Man and Hide and Seek.
Running Man was a problem with Lee Kwang-soo's removal of Kim Jong-guk's pants hanging from the iron bars and the reaction between Jean So-min and Noh Sa-yeon over the scene in a special feature with Life, which aired on August 26 last year. Article 30 (Grand Equality) of the Regulations on Broadcasting Deliberation has been subject to the attention of the court.
The problem of Hide and Seek was the scene in which Min Chae-rin (Lee Yu-ri) entered the Namtang and caused a disturbance in the broadcast on September 8 last year. This scene was also subject to statutory sanctions for violating Articles 30 and 27 (maintenance of dignity) of the Broadcasting Deliberation Regulations.
The Educational Broadcasting System said, "Although the act of making men and women feel sexual shame should be avoided, it is possible to justify sexual harassment of men by exposing men's nasal bodies () or underwear without any problem."
