According to the 2018 First Half Album Chart released by Gaon Music Chart, a Korean official music chart, BTS' regular 3rd album LOVE yourself, released in May, recorded 1,751,117 cumulative sales volumes and ranked first in the album charts in the first half of the year.
In addition, the album received 'MILION' in the Gaon certified album division released on the 12th. This is the first Million announced by Gaon Music Chart since the Gaon certification was created.
BTS previously sold 1,664,041 copies in 14 days of LOVE yourself 'Tear' on the monthly album chart in May, the highest monthly sales volume ever recorded in Gaon Music Chart.
BTS' LOVE yourself 'Tear' was the first and best Korean singer to record first place on the Billboards main album chart 'Billboards 200'. Currently, the Billboards 200 has been steadily loved worldwide for seven consecutive weeks.
