Actress Hwang Jung-eum recalled her deceased pet dogs, saying, "They were my everything."
On the 28th, Hwang Jung-eum spoke about her dogs on her YouTube channel.
After sending her two sons to school, she went for a walk with her dogs, Yebin and Yejun.
While walking, Hwang Jung-eum said, "These days, I really enjoy walking around Namsan with Yejun, Yebin, Wangsik, and Gangsik. I feel so happy right after we finish (the walk)."
She then spoke about a dog she had raised in the past.
She said, "I actually had a dog that I loved very much. She even took me to drama sets. It was a dog named 'Peach' who always stayed by my side, even when we went to filming in the countryside."
Hwang Jung-eum revealed that Peach passed away when she was 14 years old.
She said, "Peach loved me so much, and I loved Peach so much too. Since Wangsik and Gangsik weren't here at the time, she was my everything."
Hwang Jung-eum said, "After Peach went to heaven, I couldn't bring myself to get attached to a dog anymore. Peach was my first and last love."
She added that she eventually started raising a dog again after her two sons asked her to.
Hwang Jung-eum said, "At first, I couldn't really get attached. I thought I would be too sad if the children were to leave like that again."
She continued, "But as I raised them, took them for walks, and saw how much Wang-sik and Gang-sik loved them, my heart gradually opened up again."
