On the 27th, Seo In-young appeared on YouTube channel Teo’s web variety show “Salon Drip 2” and revealed behind-the-scenes stories about her wedding to her ex-husband for the first time.
During the show, while discussing fortune telling, Jang Do-yeon asked if there was anything she felt had come true in retrospect. Seo In-young immediately replied, “Divorce?”
She then shared an unexpected story. Seo In-young said, “I heard that everyone at my wedding knew I would get divorced,” adding, “Only five people from the groom’s side showed up.”
She added, “This is the first time I’m talking about this.” Even more surprising is that Seo In-young also only found out on the day of the wedding that the number of guests from the groom’s side was extremely small.
She did not express any resentment toward her ex-husband. Seo In-young said, “I hope he lives very well. It’s fine as long as we each live well in our own lives,” adding, “I am very happy right now.”
Seo In-young married a non-celebrity businessman nine years her senior in February 2023.
However, rumors of a breakup first surfaced in September of the same year, just about seven months after the marriage. Subsequently, in November 2024, they announced their divorce by mutual agreement, bringing an end to their one-year and nine-month marriage.
Having gone through one divorce, Seo In-young is currently preparing for her second marriage. In June of this year, she announced that she would be remarrying CEO Choi Ji-hoon, a businessman six years her senior. The two met through a mutual acquaintance and developed a romantic relationship.
She is also preparing for the wedding differently from her first. She revealed that instead of a lavish hotel ceremony, she is planning a small wedding at a church with close friends and family.
