Actor So Ji-sub shared his thoughts on playing the role of a father with a high school-aged daughter for the first time since his debut, in the SBS drama *Director Kim*. He confessed that, unlike the title “uncle” he had been accustomed to for 21 years, the term “Dad”—which his daughter calls him in the drama—still feels awkward.
In an interview recently released on his YouTube channel, So Ji-sub revealed that, just as he portrays a family-oriented father in the drama, he also enjoys doing household chores in real life. He mentioned that he often wears an apron and takes on household tasks.
He also expressed gratitude that this project is being compared to Liam Neeson’s performance in the movie *Taken* and showed confidence in his action acting. However, when asked about his physical stamina, he drew laughter by wittily responding with a reference to his joint health.
So Ji-sub married Jo Eun-jeong in 2020 and has taken on a new acting challenge with this project.
