Recently, a series of allegations have surfaced online from a person identified as “A,” who claims to have had an inappropriate relationship with Hwang Jung-min. In response, his agency, Sam Company, refuted the claims, stating that Ms. A is a suspect in a stalking case who has persistently harassed Hwang Jung-min, and that she has already received a court-ordered restraining order and a summary order imposing a fine following a criminal complaint.
The production company and the investment and distribution company for the film *Hope* also stated that Ms. A’s actions constitute obstruction of business related to the film. The production company claims that Ms. A is spreading malicious posts to undermine the film’s box office success and is considering taking strong legal action.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Mr. A sent an email containing related content to the North American distributor of “Hope” during the first half of this year. It is reported that Mr. A has retained a lawyer and is preparing an official statement.
