SEOUL, South Korea - Singer Yang Hee-eun celebrated her 27th anniversary as host of MBC Standard FM's "Women's Era Yang Hee-eun, I'm Kim Il-jung" ("Women's Era").
On April 4, Yang Hee-eun wrote on her Instagram, "Thank you all for celebrating the 27th anniversary of 'Women's Era'!" and said, "It's been a long time, hasn't it?"
She also shared a video of the production team celebrating with a cake with candles in the shape of '27'. Yang Hee Eun also shared a commemorative photo with her co-star Kim Il Joong.
"Women's Era" is Korea's leading longevity radio program that started in 1975. Yang Hee-eun began taking the microphone as the fourth female DJ on June 7, 1999, and has been hosting the program for 27 years.
Hosted by Yang Hee-eun and Kim Il-jung, "Women's Era" airs from 9 to 11 a.m. every day.
