Shin Hye-sun, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, will appear in 'Dash'
Shin Hye Sun has confirmed her casting in SBS's new drama "Dash" (directed by Kim Ji Yeon, written by Dam Seo). "Dash" is a mystery suspense melodrama about a prosecutor, Min Hwa Young, who is determined to take justice into her own hands and "dash" toward the truth surrounding her husband, who has become a murder suspect.
Shin Hye-sun plays Min Hwa-young, a deputy prosecutor in the Special Division 1 of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. Min Hwa-young becomes a prosecutor to uncover the truth behind her mother's mysterious death. She is an unrivaled talent who overcame all external pressures to enter the Special Division 1, where the highest power in the prosecution is concentrated. But just as she is about to embark on a full-scale investigation into a great evil, she is caught in a cruel spiral of fate when her husband becomes a suspect in a murder. Even as she is forced to suspect her own loved ones, and as enemies from all sides try to sabotage her investigation, Min Hwa-young rushes ahead with only one thing on her mind: the truth.
In the process, Min Hwa-young's desperate struggle to uncover the truth unfolds until the end, even if it is sad, miserable, broken and destroyed. And Shin Hye-sun's performance is expected to completely melt into the character of Min Hwa-young. Shin Hye-sun, who has worn different colors in each of her films, is expected to change her acting style once again.
The producers said, "Shin Hye-sun was the only actress who could fully express Min Hwa-young's desperate narrative." "Shin Hye-sun's overwhelming energy that dominates the screen and SBS's expertise in making genre films will combine to deliver an intense catharsis that has never been seen before. We look forward to seeing this movie, which will 'dash' into the hearts and minds of viewers."
'Dash' is scheduled to air in 2027.
