On the afternoon broadcast of KBS2's "New Restaurant" (hereinafter "Restaurant"), Son Tae Jin appeared in an episode where he prepared a special gift for his aunt, legendary singer Shim Soo Bong.
On that day, Son Tae Jin said, "My aunt is very careful about her diet," and prepared cold kimbap and salmon kimbap with gochujang for Sim Soo Bong, who has only gained two kilograms in 46 years.
Together with his cousin, Liberante Jinwon, and best friend Enoch, he spent five hours packing 50 lunches for Sim's national tour concerts. "You can give me pocket money for preparing this," Sim said, laughing.
After tasting the kimbap, he gave his honest opinion that it was "a bit salty," and said, "I haven't eaten kimbap in years."
Then, out of the blue, Shim Subong asked Son Tae Jin, "Why aren't you getting married?" and embarrassed him. When Son Tae-jin avoided the question by saying, "Maybe later," Shim Soo-bong grabbed his hand and said, "You keep scamming me," and asked him, "Have you ever been in a relationship?"
Son Tae Jin replied, "I've been in a relationship," and said he would put it off in favor of his music career. "If you don't get married, you might have a lot of female fans," said Shim Subong, sympathizing with him as a singer, but advising him to try love in the end.
