Star trainer Yang Chi-seung is preparing for the second act of his life by starting a new business.
On June 3, Yang posted a photo on his social media with the caption, "Gangnam Station opening in June. Guess the three letters in the circle," he posted a photo with the caption.
The caption reads, "Yang Chi-seung Kwanjang ○○○ Club COMING SOON!", raising curiosity about the new space he is preparing.
Yang Chi-seung previously ran a famous gym and established himself as a star trainer, but he had a difficult time closing down his gym after suffering 1.5 billion won worth of property damage due to a chartering scam.
Since then, he has continued his professional life as the managing director of a luxury apartment community in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
In March, Yang appeared on KBS joy's "Ask Me Anything," where he discussed his struggles as a gym owner for 25 years before becoming an employee. At the time, he revealed that he was unfamiliar with having to stay at work until a set quitting time and having to be watched by his boss. But at the same time, he admitted that he was relieved to have less pressure from managing employees and sales.
At the time, Seo expressed his support, saying, "Yang Chi-seung is diligently raising funds and doing his best every moment to reopen the gym under his name."
The post shows that his efforts to reopen the gym are paying off, as he has been preparing for it while still maintaining his professional life.
