According to his agency, Fantagio, on the 7th, Cha Jun-hwan is actively considering appearing in tvN’s new sitcom, “Palace Land.”
"Palace Land" is tvN’s first sitcom in a long time, and it is drawing even more attention following the news of Cha Jun-hwan’s potential casting. The show is said to depict the daily lives of part-time workers at an amusement park.
Cha Jun-hwan previously worked as a child actor. Born in 2001, he began his acting career at the age of five in 2006 with the MBC drama "Miracle" and has since appeared in "Best Theater," "Every Night," and "The Return of Iljimae." If he appears in “Palace Land,” it will mark his return to acting after a 17-year hiatus.
Meanwhile, Cha Jun-hwan is currently active as a figure skater. Having competed in the 2026 Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Olympics held this year, he achieved the best-ever Olympic result for a South Korean male figure skater by finishing in 4th place. Last April, he signed an exclusive contract with the entertainment management agency Fantagio, raising expectations for his future entertainment activities.
