Zerobaseone, excitement builds with 10 days left until comeback… 'Ascend-' concept film and photos released
The group Zerobaseone has heightened the excitement ahead of their comeback.
Zerobaseone (Sung Han-bin, Kim Ji-woong, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, and Park Geon-wook) released the second concept film and photos for their sixth mini-album, ‘Ascend -’, on the 7th and 8th.
The concept film, released first, began with the phrase “WHERE THE MEN ARE,” creating a meaningful atmosphere.
While the grand scale of the visuals heightened the sense of immersion, the ending revealed that all scenes unfolded within a set, completing a cinematic narrative.
The concept photos drew attention with images that looked as if they had captured a scene from a movie.
Each member appeared like a character placed within their own space and situation, completing different narratives within a single scenario, adding to the viewing pleasure.
They captivated attention by exuding an overwhelming aura within a restrained mood, while simultaneously revealing a more relaxed atmosphere.
This content is currently garnering an enthusiastic response for its composition that tells a single story, befitting the concept of "Scenario."
The concept film and photos heightened immersion through direction that resembled a continuous sequence of movie scenes, and are raising curiosity about the new songs by interpreting 2000s sensibilities through Zerobaseone's unique minimalism.
Zerobaseone plans to demonstrate their expanded musical spectrum amidst unceasing leaps forward through their new album "Ascend -," which condenses their musical journey into a single narrative, and the title track "TOP 5."
Meanwhile, Zerobaseone's 6th mini album "Ascend -" will be released on various online music sites at 6 PM on the 18th. Zerobaseone is a group formed in April 2023 through the Mnet audition program 'Boys Planet'.
After making their official debut three months later with their first mini-album, they announced last February that they would extend their group activities as a five-member unit.
