The 27th Busan International Film Festival (hereinafter BIFF) Red Carpet event was held at the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae District, Busan Metropolitan City on the evening of the 5th.

Ryu Joon-yeol and Jeon Yeo-bin were selected as the opening ceremony hosts of the 27th Busan International Film Festival, which will be held for three years. Actors Yang Joo-wi, Han Ji-min, Jin Sun-gyu, Shin Ha-gyun, Kim Kyu-ri, Han Ye-ri, and director Hirokazu Koreeda attended the ceremony.
This year's opening film is the second feature film "Agazu's Written Song" by director Hardy Mohagh, who received the New Currents Award and the International Film Critics Federation Award at the 2015 Busan International Film Festival, and the closing film was selected by director Ishikawa Kay, who was invited to the 2022 Venice International Film Festival.
The 27th Busan International Film Festival will feature 243 films from 71 countries around the world on 30 screens at seven theaters including Busan Cinema Center and CGV Centum City in Busan City from May 5 to 14.
