Kelly Clarkson McGillis, who had a romance with Tom Cruise in 'Top Gun' in 1986, is going to stay.
Entertainment Tonight asked McGillis in 2019 if the producers of Top Gun: Maverick asked him to appear in the movie.
“Oh, no, they didn’t, and I don’t think they would ever do that, I’m old and fat,” he said.
“I want to feel completely relieved about my skin and who I am and what I am at my age, instead of putting value on everything else,” he said.
This year, 64-year-old McGillis left Hollywood to stop drinking and focus on supporting his family, and told Entertainment Tonight that he was not anxious to see the sequel anyway.
According to a foreign photo taken in 2014, he is so fat that he can not find 1986.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Connelly appears as Tom Cruise's lover in the sequel Top Gun: Maverick, which was produced in 36 years.
The movie "Top Gun Maverick" is an air action blockbuster about the story of new team members who are put into a mission that crosses life and death with the best pilot Maverick (Tom Cruise), who has made a comeback as an instructor.
According to Box Office imitation on Monday, the film earned 486.22 million Family Dollars in North America and 427.2 million Family Dollars overseas, all of which earned 913.32 million Family Dollars.
It is the best-selling Tom Cruise hit and is expected to surpass 1 billion Family Dollar soon.
