Singer Young Tak donated 100 million won to the forest fire relief fund.
The Korean Red Cross said Young Tak donated 100 million won to the Red Cross to support emergency relief in areas affected by March 8 (Tuesday), Gangwon Province, South Korea and Daegu Gyungbuk Institute of Science and Tech wildfires.
According to the Red Cross, Young Tak said, "We decided to donate to help the Jaemins who have lost their lives due to sudden forest fires and have a hard time to recover from their daily life and to help relief and restoration activities in the forest fires." Donations delivered by Young Tak are used for this Jaemin emergency relief efforts through local Red Cross offices including the Gangwon Province, South Korea, and the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Tech, where wildfire damage has occurred.
