Director Hwang Dong-hyuk of the Netflix original series 'Squid Game' mentioned 'Squid Game' Season 2.
On the 19th (local time), United States of America Media Deadline told the PGA Awards red carpet about director Hwang Dong-hyuk's comment on season 2 of "Squid Game".
"I am still collecting ideas for Season 2," said Hwang Dong-hyuk. "It is all I can say now that a better Game will be played."
Asked about the format of Season 2, he said, "Most of them are dead, so you have to try something again to turn them into Season 2."
Hwang Dong-hyuk also talked about the character of Kang Dae-byeok played by Jung Ho-yeon in the play and joked, "What is the setting of Kang Dae-byeok having twins?" Jung Ho-yeon, who was listening to this, said, "I can change my hair color. I will do a little plastic surgery."
"I did not expect this success of 'Squid Game' at all, but I tried hard to make a successful work, but I did not know this was the case," Hwang said modestly.
'Squid Game' continues to write awards records, with Oh Young-soo winning the Best Supporting Actor Award in the Drama category at the 79th Golden Globe Awards, and Chung Ho-yeon and Lee Jung-jae winning the Best Actor Award and the Stunt Ensemble Award at the 28th United States of America Actors Guild Awards (SAG) Awards respectively.
Until recently, Lee Jung-jae won the Best Actor in a TV Series at the 37th Independent Spirit Awards, and the 27th Critics Choice Awards won the Best Male Actor in the Best Foreign Language Series and Drama category.
