Broadcaster Amy (real name Lee Yoon-ji, 40) was sentenced to three years in prison The Judgment.
On the 3rd, the first part of the Wonju Support Criminal Division (the Shingyo-style Chief Judge) of the Chuncheon District Court sentenced Amy, who was indicted on charges of violating the law on drug management, to three years in prison, heavier than the prosecution's sentence of two years and six months.
Amy was arrested on suspicion of drug use in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province last August, and was later put on trial for six doses of methamphetamine from late April to the end of August last year.
Amy denied the allegations, claiming that drug use was taken while involuntarily detained by her accomplice, Omo, who was indicted together in court.
However, the court did not accept Amy's claim and judged that "the crime is bad", and the prosecution Judgment was three years in prison, heavier than the two and a half years.
He also sentenced Omo, 37, an accomplice who was indicted on charges of drug use, to three years and six months in prison, six months higher than his old sentence. They also ordered the two to complete a 40-hour drug addiction treatment program.
Amy, a United States of America citizen, was given The Judgment for eight months in prison and two years in probation after she was caught taking propofol in 2012. However, two years later, in 2014, the fact that Zolpidem was administered during the probation period was revealed, and the court received a fine (5 million won) and a mandatory deportation order prohibiting entry to Korea for five years. He was then forced to leave for United States of America in December 2015, and returned to Korea in January last year.
Amy, who gained high popularity as Olive TV 'Devil Diary Season 3' in 2008, was a United States of America citizen and has been active in Korea since then through various programs, but has been criticized for being a constant bullshit.
